While in the air on our way to Philadelphia somewhere over Ohio, we encountered some pretty gnarly turbulence. The storm we were passing through wasn't a major storm but it was cold and windy. With our luck being the way it is (almost nonexistent) this same storm that threw us around a bit in the sky was blowing through Philadelphia just as the game was about to start. While it never did rain, the wind was blowing pretty good (notice the flags in the pics below) and, as a result, we froze our asses off. It was a far cry from the last Major League Baseball game I attended; sunny and warm in Anaheim, CA!

San Francisco Giants vs. Philadelpia Phillies @ Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, PA

View of the infield at Citizens Bank Park. The Phillies are up to bat in the bottom of the 1st. At about this time I was enjoying my ballpark dog and a nice beverage (I have no idea what it was). Suzanne was complaining about the cold and went to investigate the possibility of purchasing something warmer to wear. Boy was she surprised by the exorbitant prices prices in the gift shops so she froze her ass of just like I did.
View of the outfield and right field seating at Citizens Bank Park. Notice the flags there in right-center field blowing quite stiffly. The temperature wasn't that bad but the wind chill made it almost unbearable. If our seats had been in right field instead of left, we most likely wouldn't have been bothered by the wind.
The Citizens Bank Park logo looking out towards the Delaware River. The giant bell actually "rings" after a Phillies victory. Too bad the bell did not toll for us that night. The Phillies ended up losing in extra innings. But I guess that's OK seeing how they went on to win the World Series later that year.
The scoreboard at Citzens Bank Park. I guess this picture is self explanatory and I have no amusing anecdotes about it. So how about a joke?
